The Law firm LEGATE provided legal advisory services to Schneider Electric – a global leader in industrial technologies developing solutions for energy and process management with a focus on safety, reliability, efficiency, and sustainability – in connection with its participation in several public procurement procedures.

The contracting authorities were two of the largest electricity distribution companies in Slovakia – Západoslovenská distribučná (ZSD) and Východoslovenská distribučná (VSD). The estimated value of these tenders amounts to a total of EUR 55 million.

The subject matter of the supply consisted of new types of primary and secondary switchgear, representing a technological advancement in the field of sustainability and energy efficiency.

The client was informed of its success in the first tender, with an estimated value of EUR 40 million, while the second tender is currently in the evaluation phase.

The project was carried out by JUDr. Soňa Fúsková under the supervision of JUDr. Peter Vrábel, who provided comprehensive legal support in the preparation of the tender documentation submitted to the contracting authorities.
